As part of the KPMG Global Tech Innovator Awards, KPMG Venture Services is organising the Venture Champion Award for the second time this summer. Selected investors each nominate three start-ups from their field. From the field of all nominated and registered start-ups, first all investors and then all invited networkers (experts in the scene) vote to determine the first nine finalists.
The tenth and final place for the final will be awarded as a wildcard to the start-up that can mobilise the most advocates in the ecosystem (ecosystem wildcard).
The evening event on 10 June in Berlin with pitch competition, award ceremony and networking is the exclusive highlight for all invited guests and brings together founders, investors, networkers and representatives of well-known companies. The winner of the Venture Champion will travel to Lisbon as part of the WebSummit and represent the German start-up ecosystem at the Global Tech Innovator.
